Before you start
Uneed scrapes the product page first and pre-fills everything (name, tagline, description, category, 3 tags, logo). An account is needed to save it: "Log in" or "Register" (Google works).
Steps
- 1
Open the submit page, type the product name and URL, press Preview my product. If you aren't logged in, it asks you to sign in or register; after that it creates a draft at
/edit/waiting-line/<id>. - 2
A dialog says the product is submitted but won't launch until you pick an option: choose I'll update my info first.
- 3
General tab: fix the scraped text. Name (max 30; the scraper drops dots, e.g. "ihateimgcv"), tagline (max 80), rich description, category, pricing, and the 3 tags (remove wrong ones in the tag picker, search and add the right ones). Press Save changes (or Ctrl+S): a "Product updated" toast confirms.
- 4
Media tab: the logo is usually scraped already. Add 1–3 images (same aspect ratio) in the Images uploader, then save.
- 5
Schedule your launch → scroll past the paid options to Join the free waiting line → Join the line. A Fast-track upsell opens next: close it.
After submitting
The sidebar says "Launch Scheduled" with the date. The product launches automatically that day and needs an upvote score of 10 on launch day to stay published (20 to keep the dofollow link); below 10 it goes back to your dashboard and can't rejoin the free line. Plan to ask people to upvote that day. The listing will be at uneed.best/tool/<slug>.
Tips
- The browser tab must be in front: with the tab in the background, typed values weren't registered by the form ("This field is required").
- Text set programmatically doesn't count until an input event fires; type it, or dispatch input/change events.
- The scraped description can contain claims you didn't make (it wrote "no usage limits"): always replace it with your own copy.
- Paid options appear first in the schedule dialog; the free line is the last card.
The form fields
The guide also lists every field with its limit, so the copy is written to fit before submitting.
